Project MORE is funded by Award Number H027A140111, CFDA 84.027A
through the Ohio Department of Education/Office for Exceptional Children

Welcome, Ohio National Guard!

In addition to our partners, Ohio Department of Aging and several universities, we are proud and excited to announce the Ohio National Guard is partnering with Project MORE to recruit volunteer mentors for schools throughout the state. We modeled the Ohio National Guard partnership after the very successful partnership developed by Bonnie Kantor-Burman and the Ohio Department of Aging. Soldiers, airmen, spouses, college students, and Ohio National Guard Alumni will help enhance children’s reading skills through one-on-one time spent with students.

Special thanks to Mike Magnusson, Transition Assistance Advisor Ohio National Guard Joint Force Headquarters Family Readiness and Warrior Support Services, for your time, effort, and support needed to make this happen!

Website Additions

We have recently added our revised brochure as well as power point presentations from the 9th Annual Project MORE Conference, Celebrating 15 Years of Project MORE….and Counting!, held on Thursday, October 23, at Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark.

The powerpoints can be downloaded here.

The brochure is available as a link on the left menu of the Project MORE site.

Thank you to all of our participants and presenters for making our 9th annual conference “Celebrating 15 years of Project MORE…..and Counting” a success!
